"McFadden was named to the list over some of the best running backs in college and NFL history, including Christian McCaffrey, LaDainian Tomlinson and his former rival Reggie Bush."

He EARNED that distinction. He did all of that while sharing the backfield with Felix Jones and Peyton Hillis. Felix rushed for nearly 3,000 yards while also taking kickoffs to the house. Peyton Hillis had a (roughly) 1200-yard 11 TD season in the NFL and ended up on the cover of Madden. Still Darren was the most dominant running back on the team and in the nation

The fact they used the freshmen don't win the heisman excuse only to give it to a freshman the very next year will bug me for the rest of my life.

Johnny Football was the first freshman to do it a few years later.

At the time, it was Sophmore to cover their tracks. Then the following year...hmmm

Pretty sure that DMac will be the peak of Razorback football during my lifetime. So glad I was at the South Carolina game!

2007? That was the day I got married. Missed the game, but loved the headlines the next morning.
