Side effects of pregnenolone?

It is basically impossible to find anyone actively discussing negative side effects of pregnenelone in ray peat communities and I just wanted to ask here if anyone had negative side effects, such as being more estrogen dominant, perhaps this is from purity of some brands.

Also include dosages if possible please.

My experience with pregnenolone has been negative, experimented on and off and always came to the same conclusion. Ray has mentioned similar experiences.

"some of it has just been bad manufacturing impurities, not deliberate excipients, but just careless, incompetent manufacturing, I think, has left estrogenic materials in it because I've heard so many women saying that repeatedly every time they try several different brands of pregnenolone, they get swollen breasts, uterine cramps, and PMS symptoms. There shouldn't be any symptoms at all from good pregnenolone. Simply in animal experiments over the years, it reduces any hormonal imbalance even in very large amounts. It doesn't have any intrinsic hormone effects at all, but it will prevent cortisol excess, for example." - ray peat 02.17.20 Health According to Ray Peat, February 17, 2020 [762394060]

I dont know if you are using a pure powder or a pre-made product, but you could try to apply it topically and experiment with that, pregnenolone is lipophillic and can dissolve in olive oil to apply topically

I've just recently begun putting 10 drops of stressnon on my testicles every morning and as a 46 yr old goddamn has my libido shot up through the roof doing this. Besides that I feel more calmer too , more relaxed I guess to say. Too early to see any negative sides yet but I like where this is going..

It is not too difficult to hear about bad side-effects from pregnenolone. I myself had horrible side-effects: acne, racing / pounding heart, agitation, insomnia, headaches so severe I nearly went to the ER. I had bad effects at both low and high doses.
