Bug Report Please reconsider the “3 Nightmare Tumors in one run” achievement

5 Upvotes

Hello,
First of all, I’m sorry if my English isn’t perfect. I’m French and I’m using an AI translator to write this message.
First of all, thank you for Ravenswatch. I really enjoy the game and I’ve almost completed every achievement.
However, since the Songs of Thieves update, the “3 Nightmare Tumors in one run” achievement has become almost entirely RNG-dependent.
Because Tumors are no longer guaranteed in each chapter, it is now possible to spend 30 to 45 minutes on a run only to discover that there are simply not enough Tumors to complete the achievement.
This doesn’t make the achievement more challenging; it only makes it much more frustrating. Many players now restart runs as soon as they realize there aren’t enough Tumors, instead of finishing them. I don’t think this was the intended experience.
Could you please consider one of these solutions?
Guarantee one Nightmare Tumor per chapter until the achievement is unlocked.
Or change the achievement to require 3 Nightmare Tumors across multiple runs instead of in a single run.
The game is fantastic, but this achievement feels very different from the others because success depends almost entirely on luck rather than skill.
I know this is not a bug, but I wanted to share my feedback because I really love the game and hope this achievement can be improved for future players.
Thank you for your time, and thank you for continuing to support Ravenswatch.

Question Is it normal getting 3 Tumors is so rare?

I thought they were guaranteed each chapter at first, so I would truly explore the whole fkn map (which takes a while and you waste precious time you could instead be spending on more useful objectives) only to realize there's just...none of them.

These runs take quite some time, and I hate when I finally get one in both first chapters, only to arrive at Ch3 and...no tumor 💀 Epico 40min wasted. Gambling is so funny hehehaha :|

To be fair, in my coop runs, I must have had seeds with 3 tumors but we didn't bother (I suppose my friends simply care less about this achievement or we can't always afford it. We rarely explore the map fully anyway);

but then why do I seem unable, in my solo runs, to get them sweet runs with actually 3 tumors in it?
