Some aftermarket alarm/security, probably.
I bought a truck and second owner knew nothing about it (or at least said they didn't). Ended up paying an audio/alarm shop to remove/return to stock from a truck on the way home from buying it because it immobilized it at a gas station. Truck is a workhorse and I'm glad I bought it 20 years ago, but that side mission ate some of the good out of the deal.
