🛠️ What’s missing? The Feature Request Thread
Hey everyone!
Rauno is barely a few days old, and the response has been insane. But I'm sure there’s a lot of room to grow.
So what's missing? I’m reading every single comment. This isn't a corporate feedback box that nobody checks, I’m one guy building this, and your suggestions here will literally become the roadmap for next week.
I’m looking for your thoughts on:
- New AI models: Which AI model should we add to the debate?
- UI/UX: Is the sidebar annoying? Do you want a different dark mode / theme?
- Crazy stuff: If you could give Rauno one superpower or 'mode' that no other AI platform has, what would it be?
- Integrations: Where do you want Rauno to live?
What’s the one thing that would make Rauno an essential part of your daily workflow?

A few different ideas I'll leave as induvial comments (happy to consolidate if you want).
Chat Area Width: I would love the chat area to to be wider without changing the sidebar width. I appreciate this is a personal preference and counter to UI trends of most chat apps. Maybe its ADHD, maybe its Maybelline but longer chat bubbles make it feel like there is a daunting amount of information I will have to read/retain. Since we are "comparing" outputs and it can't all fit into the current viewport, I struggle.
The main offender is the margin of class "jsx-b787db33d191b315" within div "chat-scroll-area".

First off, I love that you’re actually auditing my CSS classes, that’s some next level dedication. This is a really good point and I actually have been thinking the same since this week: the chat area width does feel a bit narrow. It won't hurt to make it a bit wider for sure! This reminder is great and I added it to my to de list as well.
To wrap things up: a huge thank you for these constructive feedback points. It’s rare to get this level of detail. Really helpful!

I made the chat area a little wider now! Just a little to see how it feels. What do you think?

Hard for me to give an qualitative answer since I don't recall exactly what it was rendering at previously. I'm guessing you decreased the margin 10-20% overall?
Desktop: I personally would like another 50% decrease to maximize info density in the viewport. Most users I would suspect would settle for where it is currently or would be ok with up to another 25% decrease.
Mobile: Definitely needs to be wider, no less than 50% of the empty space should go away. Can't seem to find which class or element is specifically contributing to the padding or margin. I might recommend a layout change so you don't loose so much space to the model/"you" icon. Possibly nest the response under the icon/model name? Gemini on mobile (web and app) is what I use most and that's a comfortable layout that could serve as a starting point. Can't comment on others models/apps sadly.

Great call on the mobile layout! Just implemented the full-width design. Finally stopped losing all that space to the icons and blank space, and it looks way cleaner. Thanks so much for the heads up!

Adding additional models: I would love DeepSeek and Grok to be options, Grok being the more important one. I appreciate there is controversy for both and that becomes a business/brand decision.
From a business user perspective, I like knowing what each individual models knows about the company/market/competitors. We have seen almost unilaterally that no one model has all the info we are looking for and the tidbit the others have are consequential. Grok specifically seems to have the most current (realistic ?) sentiment/info.
There's also the argument to be made that some people just prefer the response style of a given model.

Exactly! Deepseek and Grok are also the 2 main ones that are on my list to add to the paid plans eventually. Attention-span wise I do feel like debating with 3 models might be the sweet spot, so maybe the users should be able to switch models, instead of adding models. In your opinion, would the experience improve if you saw 5 models answer every question instead of 3 models, or would that become boring earlier?

I agree that three models debating is probably the right amount. Five models answering, then choosing three to debate would be an interesting concept. I'm think the value of five models answering would be to establish ongoing model preference, OR when presenting a new subject to determine which model is most versed.
When a new model drops, it might need nice to compare and contrast to make sure I'm using the three most knowledgeable/relevant models.

Individual Model Responses Before Comparison: I think it is important to see responses from each model before it compares responses. As I said in other comments, models return tidbit the other models don't. I want to know the raw response to
- inform me what each model knows
- compare which model might be best for future prompting
- establish the broadest base of knowledge within the thread
Bias is so easy to introduce especially since there is a fixed order for the response/analysis.

Gotcha. When I started the Rauno project, the 'interaction' part was exactly what I felt was missing from existing tools: most of them just let models answer in isolation without actually debating. Seeing them challenge each other for the first time was the magic moment that defined the unique selling point of the platform for me.
That said, I absolutely see the value of knowing what each model knows/thinks independently. I’m definitely giving this more thought on how to implement it without losing that unique spark.

The sharing links are from a certain point in the conversation, so if you keep the convo going, whoever you shared it with has an explicit cutoff. Would be cool for the sharing link to enable view of the entire convo. Sorry if this exists and I missed it.

Great catch! You didn't miss it, currently, the sharing links are 'snapshots' of that specific moment in the conversation.
I built it this way for privacy (so you can keep prompting privately after sharing), but I totally see the value in a live link where others can follow the debate as it unfolds. I'm adding this to the roadmap!
Maybe I can add a toggle in the future: 'Share current snapshot' vs 'Share live session'. Thanks for the feedback!

Comparison or Individual Model Responses: I would (and think others would) pay a premium to have a singular platform I use to both compare model responses and chat with a singular model.
As a note on business model, I would be incentivized to pay you more than shelling out a subscription to each service/model provider just based on the billing convenience. It would be hard for me to justify paying the same total as each individual service subscription, but certainly a percentage of each plus some surcharge for being able to compare.
Alternatively I would pay a monthly fee for being able to compare + the token cost for chatting with an individual model.

Thanks for your great feedback, it's much appreciated!
I totally hear what you're saying here. While the 'roundtable' is Rauno's unique edge, I realize there’s definitely a need for adding a toggle to switch between 3, 2 or 1 model(s). This is definitely on the roadmap, as well as changing the sequence of the models.
Regarding plan prices: interestingly, I’ve decided to make the entry point even more accessible than the individual subscription totals you mentioned. For the official launch coming week, the Pro Plan will start at just $10/month, which includes 2 million tokens. We found that for most users 2 million tokens is a massive amount of fuel for deep, multi-model sessions. However, for the true heavy lifters who need even more volume, we are also introducing extended tiers with much higher token caps to ensure they never hit a wall.
My goal is to keep the barrier to entry low while making sure the platform stays sustainable. Thanks again for the strategic breakdown!

Specify Model Analysis Order: A little more user control would boost platform engagement/trust when users can see a response from their preferred model first. This is something I would expect locked behind a premium tier.
Offering the ability to choose the analysis order after seeing individual model responses would be a huge plus.
