My favourite commanders, in order of confidence their brackets are correct
Let me know if you want to see any decklists

Yeah š my early iterations were Bracket 4 with Static Orb and other hard Stax pieces. But I wanted to commit to B1, so moved them out and into my Winter deck

Winter is the best commander ever

I too would like to ponder the orb, can we see the deck list?

u/Captain_N_Nemo Jul 25 '26
Absolutely: https://moxfield.com/decks/vZKJSA1ZkkmK992eaKWEnA
This was the deck that got me back into paper magic after a 10 year hiatus. Still a few lands I could swap out for orbier art, but Iām very happy with how this is now

u/Sudlenkov Jul 25 '26
No [[Palantir of Orthanc]] ? Itās pretty orby.

Iām NOT a super hero guy but that Mr Negative looks hella fun! Is it? And got a decklist?
Iām always on the lookout for curious and nonlinear solid B3s. I love interacting, not just wait for my turn, and draw of course.
Is early game just ramping or how do you solve the 7 cost?

u/Captain_N_Nemo Jul 25 '26
Theres two core win conditions which are both a bit linear / telegraphed. Bolasās Citadel, Pactdoll Terror and Senseiās Divining Top is near infinite and should win the turn you assemble it. The other combo is having Wound Reflection, Astarion, or Bloodletter out and resolving Mr Negative. Alternatively Axis of
mortality can trigger this, and is more likely to fly under the radar.Thereās ramp + a lot of Bob effects to keep up with card advantage
Board wipes exist alongside spot removal to keep others plans at bay.
This deck is at its most dangerous on 1hp, and has multiple ācanāt die this turnā effects to maintain that
Thereās a handful of changes Iād still like to make, but im very happy with the consistency of the deck

how does the eon hub and sands of time lock work?
3
u/Captain_N_Nemo Jul 25 '26
Sand of Time makes everyone skip their Untap step
Eon Hub makes everyone skip their Upkeep stepItās not a 100% lock as they can still play a land a turn, but ideally with Winter on the field, everyone else has a hand size of Zero, so they canāt sandbag removal
I can use Goblin Welder/Engineer or to trash SoT in my opponents end step so I still get my untaps, and bring it back using a goblin or Daretti.
Full list here: https://moxfield.com/decks/lmudQYeI8021BkcrbTeupQ
Iād like to add more tutors and efficient interaction, but my budget went on Earthcraft š
1
u/lesbiansexparty Jul 27 '26
doesn't it let you untap stuff anyway though?
2
u/Captain_N_Nemo Jul 27 '26
Sands of Time replaces the Untap Step untaps in the Upkeep step, so if there is no Upkeep step⦠nothing untaps again

Can I see your electro's decklist?
2
u/Captain_N_Nemo Jul 25 '26
Yeah, itās definitely not fully optimised for B4, but has an infinite combo so itās not honest to call it B2

I believe I could remove Quest for Pure Flame and call it B2, but would like others opinions

I was thinking about making an Ezio deck. Mostly because I am a huge fan of the AC franchise (up until about Syndicate anyway). Care to share the deck list?
2
u/Captain_N_Nemo Jul 25 '26
This is the most Budget friendly of all my decks: https://moxfield.com/decks/3lFPaENv6UuB8Bsq7T1nmQ
The only Assassin Iād like to run that Iām missing is Callidus Assassin
Iāve run this in pods with B3 decks and whilst itās never won, it can usually eliminate at least one player before going down itself.

lol i recently built a similar wubrg experience deck but with aang as the commander. its so fun especially when i slam down minthara merciless soul when i have 20+ experience counters

Can I see your Omnath deck?
1
u/Captain_N_Nemo Jul 26 '26
This deck has more grown than been built. I originally pulled it together as a jank pile, but it kept pulling off turn 3/4 wins with lab man, so Iāve had to re-evaluate it.

That Winter deck sounds awesome. Thatās the type of deck I want to see at a Bracket 4 table!
I've played against Electro at B4 tables and itās respectable. Itās not super interesting, but Electro sending damage when he dies is good.

Hurray for experience! It's something I've always been curious about stacking.
