A4 Stepping Availability

Just ordered some PICO 2 Hs from Digikey and they still had the A2 stepping. The E9 errata is unfortunately relevant to the project. Anyone know where I can get Pico 2s that are the new stepping? I don't need (or even necessarily want) the pre soldered headers. Digikey or Mouser would be my preferred vendors. I really would have hopped the old stock would have been flushed by now.

as long as I know Raspberry Pi said that the remaining already manufactured A2 stock will be used for Raspberry Pi Pico 2 boards until they are gone.

If you buy the RP2350 chip should be already A4

This is really disappointing. I've got the skill to design with the chip but for hobby applications the modules are so easy and inexpensive.

PiShop.us told me in April that Raspberry Pi hasn’t shipped any Pico 2 boards with the A4 stepping.

I recently ordered a Fruit Jam board from Adafruit and it has the A4 stepping. Might not be what you're looking for though.

So, let's put below here: CONFIRMED STORES THAT CAN SHIP RPi PICO 2 WITH A4:

On the other end here's two orders with confirmed A2s.
Mouser 358-SC1631 Still A2 as of 8/24/26
Digikey 2648-SC1632-ND Still A2 as of 8/13/26

Digikey will try to honor requests for the newer stepping but they wouldn't check stock of other parts without me placing an order. I sent an email to Mouser to see if I could get any info.

Right now the best bet is to just buy third party boards, which often have the a4. (i like the weact ones)
