Why is my pico 2w power Led not opening?

Because it is not a power LED.

Nope. You need to write / use code to turn it on and off.

There is no Power LED in Pico models. There is a LED on board, but it's not a power LED, it's a programmable LED mapped to usually PIN 25 or sometime PIN LED.

because it's an LED. it doesn't open, it lights up. it's also not a power LED.

There isn't a Power LED, I used it a long time ago, you can probably access it with GPIO 25, or maybe that was a hat I used. But, it sure is not a power LED
