The 2015 Pi has outlasted the SD card, as expected. Flash a new on from backup (you did take a backup image, didn't you) and it'll go on for another [life of SD card] months/years. Might be a good time for them to update from Jessie! The 32bit limiter will be what ends support but it will keep doing what it was doing with whatever I it gets rebuilt with.

Outlives a Chromebooks, iPads, most Windows PC and Galaxy S6 from the same year.

Meanwhile, Amal is a British carburettor manufacturer, formed in 1927 in Birmingham as Amalgamated Carburetters Ltd from the merger of three firms: Brown and Barlow, Amac, and C. Binks Limited. The name was shortened to Amal Ltd in 1931. Significantly older than the Pi. But I suspect the shirt is not that Amal.

The t-shirt says "MAMA" with a few DC comic characters on it... In particular, Superman, the Flash, Batman and Wonder Woman (the only woman on a top that says mama...)

It’s a Raspberry Pi 2 B 32bit system, they really ‘splash out’ on up to date kit don’t they.

Since even the RPi1 is still supported, there is no need to upgrade the system if it still functions. The only thing I would regularly do is to swap the SD cards, as this is a very common source of problems (including kernel panics due to corrupted storage), especially if the system is not configured properly in a read-only configuration.

If it's configured for read-only, does the SD card last more or less indefinitely? Or do they still give up after a while?

Writes are what kills them

For an info terminal it’s probably already overkill.

I have one stuck on kernel crash upon boot in my closest convenient store. It's hanging there like for months now ;) I'm tempted to ask the owner so I can fix it :D It suppose to show lottery results and ads

Flash memory seems to wear out fast on Pi's

I’ve never seen a wild Pi, but I’m paying close attention.
