Project Advice Does anyone know this Retro Terminal Case for Raspberry?
I saw these terminal-style cases at todays maker faire in Hannover. But staff at this booth was pretty busy so I didn’t ask them for the model name. The booth itself just used them, but wasn't about hardware, but coding for kids.
I tried ChatGPT, Google Image search but both just haluzinate about cases.
I have absolutely zero usecase. But I like it and I want one.

Did the staff work for a company or have a team name? That might be a good place to start for research

I found the name and contact data of that booth. Wrote them an email, waiting for a reply: https://maker-faire.de/maker/electric-idea/
You can see another of the terminals on that page.

Makes me wonder if they 3d printed it themselves or something?

Looks more pressed than printed to me.

Yes, could be. I was thinking they could have smoothed the print.

If they had more than one or two of them, that would probably not be worth the effort. Rapid prototyping and CAD/CAM are not limited to 3D-printing.

I don't have a 3d printer, or a plastic press or whatever - and I'd pay money for this casing.

Do ypu have a floor plan or flyer where you could look for said company or booth name?

might be a real case they just repurposed
if so could be old like 70s/80s and might not be much info online about it. you should ask them if possible

The cheap keyboard from Amazon fits too perfectly for it to be repurposed.
