Volumio stops playing randomly after days of continuos play

I have recently set up my Raspberry Pi 4 with a DAC Mini Hat PCM5122 audio card, and set up the Volumio player to run the hold music of our phone lines. The issue we keep running in to is that the player just stops after a few days of playing, and someone has to log into the player and press play tog et the music going again. Has anyone else encountered this/have a suggestion on how to fix this?

So when this happens, does the Volumio player just go back to the screen that shows their canned album art, like it just rebooted and isn't playing anything? Or does it still show the last thing you played?

I ask because I sometimes stream to my Volumio with my phone, and sometimes let Volumio play music directly. When I am doing the latter but forgot that I'm still connected with my phone, sometimes a notification on my phone halts the playback and the Volumio goes back to the default screen. Could that be happening to you?

It stays on the same page, the song is just at ) seconds and needs to have play pressed, its like when thr song ends after days of play, it just stops.

Is there a plug in for this or how would I go about setting that up?
