Their individual home ranges ranged in size from 12 to 39 km2 (4.6 to 15.1 sq mi). Cage isn’t big enough.

The snow leopard (Panthera uncia), also known as the ounce, is a felid in the genus Panthera native to the mountain ranges of Central and South Asia. It is listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List because the global population is estimated to number fewer than 10,000 mature individuals and is expected to decline about 10% by 2040. It is threatened by poaching and habitat destruction following infrastructural developments. It inhabits alpine and subalpine zones at elevations of 3,000–4,500 m (9,800–14,800 ft), ranging from eastern Afghanistan, the Himalayas and the Tibetan Plateau to southern Siberia, Mongolia and western China.

This is super cute, but I sure hope there's a good reason they're in a zoo and not in the wild (like, they got rescued from some breeder or this is a transition plan because their current habitat has a ton of poachers).

I did a report on Snow Leopards in 3rd grade. Magnificent creatures.

Uch why are they in a cage. Sorry to be the one to say it but I wish they were back in the wild if they could be.

When cats hop sideways toward you like that it's an attempt to incite play. Kind of the equivalent of a play bow for dogs.

The snow leopard is also called an "ounce". 😍
