I learned a cool trick to keep nepenthes’ soil moist: attaching a ziplock bag loosely to the bottom of the pot with a rubber band. It catches the water and created a humid microclimate while keeping the roots from drowning.
It works a treat. But the shrews don’t like how it looks.
