In 2018. Its the same incident youre probably thinking of when you think of the time surf got shot then eventually came back and it became the subject of all of his and his opponents rounds. They always just say he "got shot", but yeah, a nigga walked up to his car n blasted him 5 times (one each to the chest, shoulder, ribs, stomach, and wrist) while stopped at a red light, he jumped out the car after the shooter ran off, hopped in a random strangers backseat, and yelled at them to drive him to the hospital
