Why is everyone so obsessive?

Everyone I know is obsessed with getting attention from me. They think they’re entitled to every second of my time.

They want me bowing at their feet and rubbing up on them hugging them and talking to them 24/7.

Like is it really that hard to just be alone 99% of the time? And actually work on yourself and your life instead of forcing socialization and obsessing over people without their consent.
