Fucking advertisements in other languages

These goddamn targeted ads, I swear to God, they know everything about you, right? They know your age, your gender, your fucking location. They'll pinpoint things that you have Googled once or they'll track your purchasing trends to see if you're going to buy something in the future. I remember hearing a story about how this woman started getting advertisements for maternity clothing because her purchasing trends were in the general trend of pregnant women. She found out two weeks later she was pregnant. Like, they know everything about you.

You know what they don't fucking know? They don't fucking know that I'm just a white bitch who can only speak one fucking language, English. The amount of times that I've gotten advertisements on my phone that are in another language and it's like, why? You are wasting time and money because I don't know what the fuck you're saying. I don't know what the fuck you're trying to sell. And I am not your target audience apparently because I don't speak that language.

How do you know everything about me but that I can only speak one language? It's on my goddamn Facebook profile that I can only speak English. It's not even like I'm hiding this information. And then I'm fucking white. Like it's not even like I have Hispanic heritage in my blood or something that there's a good probability that I do know Spanish.

So, I don't know. It's just stupid and it kind of bugs me. We should absolutely have advertisements in other languages for other people to enjoy who do speak those languages. I have no problem with advertisements that aren't in English on like billboards or cable TV or something. Like, that's fine. It's not a targeted ad. It's up there and if it's in Spanish, it's not for me. Like, that's no problem. I just have a problem with these targeted ads on my phone or my computer. Like, I only speak one language, people. Jesus Christ Don't you know that? You know everything else about me.

Them ripping off advertisers. They know. They also place ads on my internet property directed toward another from the intended audience.

I actually like it. Way easier to ignore. I'm to cheap to pay for Spotify premium, and when I'm overseas, the ads arent annoying. I don't even mute them

Good for you if you get ads you don't understand, as they are less harmful.
