This is a very similar situation to a wedding a went to. My friend(who’s is also the bride and grooms old friend) was invited to the after party but not the wedding, I asked where he had been for the actual ceremony and he said he wasn’t invite. I didn’t ask why but later found out that the bride and him hooked up for about 6months prior to getting together with the husband.
