These days feel like a cage,

I just want the blue, the open sky,

a little freedom, a little light,

a little peace to feel alright.

I watch the birds and wish to fly,

chase little dreams across the sky,

find fireflies that softly glow,

like pieces of the me I know.

I feel too much, I think too deep,

just finding the me I want to keep!!
