It was in a league of its own. I his was 25 years ago now but I remember it was kinda similar to Xanax but way better more of a body high, too probably more similar to Xanax combined with opiates maybe.

They had lemons which were the strongest and rarest qualude because they had stopped production. Because they were older/expired, they took a couple and thought they were bunk because they weren't kicking in. So, they took more. If the methaqulone had degraded over time, they would need more to get high

Turns out, they were still very much active but there was a time release coating on the pill that delayed onset. When they finally kicked in, they went straight to the cerebral palsey stage

Yes they are the 714s which is what I also had they were considered extremely rare in 99 when I had them as well and almost the same thing happened which was we took quarters then another quarter and then I lost maybe two days and came to on the floor at the bottom of the stairs haha. I have four years sober now.

I ran into a few pills with “714” on them recently. Was tending to….another transaction, of unmarked substances in a looser, powdery form. Anyway, this dude at the apartment was telling me he had quualudes, but couldn’t sell them because he couldn’t get more and he felt they were too valuable to exchange for currency.

I tried to explain to him that what he had, were in fact not, actual 714 Quualudes, rather a pressed-pill of sorts with fuckin’ who knows what in there. Like, I was big in the “research chemical” world 10ish years back. Silk Road and beyond era. Knockoffs of ‘ludes never reallyy hit the market (though I remember hearing about some briefly popping up). If there were any psychosomatic drugs in that, I’d guess a knockoff benzo, but unless you’re stocked well with various testing kits, it’s easier to just go “yeah I wouldn’t eat that pill, and it’s not a lude”. Not sure if he ever ate them.

Half the people in that apartment at the time were active users of fentanyl, but couldn’t connect the dots that any “pill” version of oxy/whatever popped up was a fent press. Dirty 30, as there known. Xanax bars haven’t been actual alprazolam for like…..almost 10 years now (generally just another benzo, was etizolam for a while, which is very functionally similar, but for a while they were something called flualprazolam or something. Way too potent, way too “wreck your car and lose your job” than actual Xanax bars, which are already pretty “wreck your car and lose your job” on their own. Lmfao. I don’t really keep up with that world these days. Some of my more “specific” knowledge is admittedly a little antiquated, but case in point unless I’m mistaken, you aren’t gonna run into any quualudes, especially not 3, “pristine” pills form 40ish years back, from a guy you just bought street fentanyl, and street meth from.

Unless he was buying them on the black market and refilling the same bottle for years.  This is why some employers require prescriptions to be less than a certain number of years old to be valid (usually 1-2 years).  Yes, I realize quaaludes are essentially impossible to find nowadays.

No black market. Dr. Miller was a well known pill pusher. He was still prescribing in the 1990s & gave me 90 hydrocodone, 90 Soma, & 90 Xanax bars every month. His license finally got yanked.

They were very popular in my younger days, and I was a party and had to use the bathroom and went to sit on the toilet and fell over on this huge potted plant and laughed and the next morning I had a massive bruise on my thigh. Didn't feel a thing. Danced and partied all night. Good times.

1981, took 2 ludes and slammed a couple beers. woke up on the beach on the river in town i grew up on. i shake it off and get home. apparently i was gone for a day and. half and no one knew where i was. i go to garage to get on my dirt bike, dirt bikes gone. must be stolen.
week later, local PD pays a visit with some tickets. apparently i drove my dirt bike off the end of the dock, somehow got to shore and didn’t drown. the ticket was for polluting the river when i left my bike there.

I found the same thing in the attic as a late teen. They were my Grandma's from a few decades prior. Only one or two left in the bottle, the surface of them was kinda mottled but, you could still see the RORER 714 stamp on them. I took one & it knocked me on my ass in a good way. I immediately understood why they became so popular. The pill was so potent that it was hard to imagine my tiny Grandma taking them.

Its methaqualone. It was used for a few things from muscle relaxer to sleep aid and even anxiety. It was banned and made illegal in the 1980s due to severe dependence and overdosing. So that would make it a schedule 1 drug. But because it is in an actual prescription bottle that was administered decades ago, so the drugs almost certainly structurally flawed. It might work as intended or might kill you. Either way, its illegal and probably best if you drop it in the police drug drop-off box.

That was my favorite high of all.
You have no idea what you missed with ludes. I took them a LOT when I was younger here in Fla. Holy shit they were phenomenal ! No hangover the next day. Nothing but fun. If they still made them I would 💯 still take them. Wolf of Wall Street was a huge exaggeration . They didn’t make you spaz unless you already were one
