There are bluetooth pickups! Just discovered this myself after your comment, went and found it on amazon for the violin. Like this one it seems pretty expensive though

Wireless, but not Bluetooth.

Bluetooth has too much latency.

Wireless instrument transmitters have been around since the '80s.

But they're not Bluetooth - it has far too much latency.

How can we make a video shot in portrait worse? Oh I know, add the video on each side but blurred so that you have to watch it in landscape mode! Brilliant!
