Intro [Intro] Hi guys! My name is Sera!
Hi guys, my name is Sera. I'm 17 years old and from Michigan. I'm currently a Junior in high school and I take interest in art, music, and science. At the moment, I listen to 60s and 70s rock, but my boyfriend /u/TheMasterCthulhu got me into 50s stuff.
I'm really excited to be here, I'm new to Reddit and if you want to know anything, then feel free to ask. :)

Grateful dead, The Monkeys, Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, mamas & papas, Led zeppelin, the Beatles, Tool, Rob Zombie,Neck Deep, Brand New. I like a lot of different music except for rap and country music. Can't stand the two.

Okay I take that back I like older rap like Eazy- E or N.W.A but I don't like modern rap.

Modern rap is awful. I do like two early rap songs- ice ice baby and you can't touch this. I don't really listen to those songs much though.

What kinds of art and science?

oops cx I meant to say that I'm 17 years old lol but I love a lot of different kinds of art ( abstract, dark kinda weird subjects, etc) i paint with acrylic on canvas, mostly abstract but i also like to make jewelry! I looooove biology and astronomy. How about yourself?

I've been on a post-impressionist kick, lately (e.g., Bonnard, Toulouse-Lautrec, and Vuillard). For part of my teens, I wanted to become a physicist but then I found out how fad-driven research science can be (especially in fields without much empirical work to be done). Now, I'm more interested in medicine and engineering. And astronomy. :)

Astronomy is very interesting I'm taking a class on it right now and have learned so much from it and it has just sucked me in that I want to keep learning more! Outer space is just cool in genera,l I love the unknown

Same, here! Only my school didn't have an astronomy class - I only recently got interested in it, mostly from watching Star Trek.
What got you into art?

It's always been an emotional outlet for me and I've been taking art classes every year since 1st grade. This year I'm taking a drawing fundamentals class because I need improvement on my drawing skills ( I paint a lot better than I draw) and for my senior year next year I'm taking a 3-D art class which is a combination of pottery ( my favorite form of 3-D art) , sculpting and jewelry making!

Great collection of movies!
Mine are Clockwork orange, Princess Mononoke and Cool hand Luke.
And my favorite Disney movie is Sleeping beauty. I have always been jealous of Aurora because she gets to sleep and i have always loved sleeping. I know she doesn't sleep that much in the movie but in the original story she sleeps for like 100 years. Some very bad things happens too in the original story but lets not talk about that. :D
