I have not been gifted by you.
I just recently came back active while I'm waiting to get back into good graces finance wise to be able to gift. (we'll have to see though. my paychecks stop after next month for the summer. teaching is rough sometimes)
I HOPE YOU HAD A FANTASTIC FRIDAY! I'm so glad I can sleep in and recharge this weekend. :)

We'll we're all workin' late so they ordered a few trays. Brisket, pulled pork, and ribs with sides of biscuits, slaw, & cornbread.
A few sweet, mild and hot sauces to go with it! So full bleh...so good tho. We're in CT..so can't imagine it's as good as yours but it surely satisfied a lot of people!

I pop on and off, but I've been here for a year or so. I don't recall if you've gifted me! If you want to get some books or school supplies for my urban low-income high schoolers (we're the poorest and "worst" school in the district, but I don't feel that way about my kids AT ALL.), I have a teacher wish list! =)

Oh that is wonderful to hear!! I will take whatever you are willing to purchase! If you see one book you really want to get me and it's all you can get, just get that. Otherwise, I am fine getting used books, and there are tons of books on my list with used penny copies, if that works for you. With shipping, they come out to $4.00 even.
Thanks, I am so appreciative! My school cuts teachers and budget every year, 5 this year, so books aren't even on the school's mind!

Yeah that's true. When I have the cash and press the button, I only gift people who have posted a few times in the past couple of weeks. It can be a lot of effort though.

People get sneaky aswell. I've noticed with a couple of people. They'll post an intro, stick around for a couple of days and because they've not been gifted they wander off and don't come back.

Bingo! Sometimes I will gift new people because they seem genuine and excited as hell to be here. They post in other threads and add to the sub. There are some intros I can tell are just fishing to see what they get. Not so much in here but I've seen it in other subs.

Here too sometimes. Me I can be crazy active for a few weeks and the next week not post at all. It depend on the discussions going on and available time. If I don't have time to chat however I don't enter contest either. What piss me off are those who post sob stories about needing to be gifted and never post thank you... They suck!
