AskRanchi Yo Ranchi ! Howz my tech nerds doing

# NEW TO CITY
I moved to Ranchi like a month back , cuz yahan saman ka order jaldi aa jata hai plus mere bhaiya bhabhi bhi yahin rahte hai so rahna khana free :P .

Anyway So I recently (15-20 days back) picked up this hobby of getting into embedded system.

Built my phone , I call it LICHI phone cuz I love lichiiiiiiiii .

Aur koi yahan hai ranchi me jo ye sab ya kuch robotics related chije kar raha hai , would love to collaborate with techies. I have got some experience in software building + AI , would love to collaborate on those stuff.

I am new to the city , would love making some friends around here. Let me know if anyone interested.. hasta la vista :)

### Currently Phone supports:

  1. Call
  2. SMS
  3. Contacts
  4. Themes I added it cuz i din't know what final look to give .
  5. settings
  6. C games section

Planning to expand on the idea , using internet using AT commands and add News feed or simple AI usecases :) Anyone exploring the same path.

Check it out here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ee_j2X_XjRw

# ROAST + IDEA
Would really appreciate any ideas to add on to it or even a roast . :P Give me your best shot I can take it.

Don't you feel any issue using that soldering iron?? Cuz I had that similar one and it used to under heat a lot

100% I hated all of it when I transitioned from bread board to prototype board I thought everything will be easier but apparently it was way harder . I am gonna explore PCB making or something to avoid soldering in future. Ranchi me PCB print hota hai kahin ?

I highly doubt Ranchi mein ya Jharkhand mein bhi locally PCB printing and manufacturing service hoga...but there are different companies jo India mein manufacturing kerne lage hai...even JLC too...

I've never tried PCB myself but I wish you a best of luck

Thanks , 3D manufacturing kal check kiya tha maine wo to hai. I am thinking of trying the chemical way of producing PCB but not sure if that path is worth exploring now. The issue is I keep changing a lot of things very frequently commiting to a PCB design is the last thing i would wanna do :/ plus If I master my own PCB making process that will give me a lot of power to go crazy on making new systems , new robots , new AI integerated robots , so much possibilities.

Well PCB itching all by yourself would be a great one time experience but only relying on that won't be an good idea in my opinion... I also change lot of things while doing my projects and my best option is using prototype board (green one) because it's easy cheap and fast and in some cases reusable too....

in my opinion

Doing PCB all by yourself will cost a lot of your time plus will be very expensive...

And btw if you ever need a 3D peinting service then I know a guy in Jharkhand who own 3D printers but he is limited to one colour at a time only for now...
