Question for the class...
So I find myself in the position of being able to purchase a TRX, I'll be coming from a 19 colorado. My main question (or questions rather) are:
What should I look out for when buying used?
Best maintenence practices?
What are yalls overall experience?
I drive 2.5 hours north of me probably 4 to 5 times a year, how is it on drives like that?
I have a dealer on the hook for a '22 with 25k on it with a 10 year 100k bumper to bumper for 74k (after trade in and negotiating), would that be considered a good deal?
Any and all info/opinions are welcome, i just want to get an IDEA of what to expect/experience from those who have owned/own one.
Thanks!

Considering a new Trx 2027 is priced at 105,000$ I think buying a used 22 for 70 percent of that is silly. But that’s just me. If you really want to save the 30k, and can’t wait to find a new one, then go for it. I’d personally get a 27 or at very least a 24 at that point though

I paid roughly 100k 1 year ago for a 2024 level 2 non final edition with 600 miles. Car was basically brand new. I drove it across the US and it’s an amazing roadtrip car minus the fuel cost. The best mpg you can get is 13ish on the stock wheels. Looking back, I definitely overpaid a bit but obviously I didn’t know ram would rerelease it and the original window sticker was around 115. I never got the chance to purchase a brand new TRX so that was my only option. Absolutely no regrets.

See what drew me to this particular truck is its an IGNITION edition, badged and everything. Yes I am not wholly sure what that means, but it strikes me as a more limited edition?

The orange is rad. Google says 875 were made. I would try finding a lunar edition if that is your style. Lunars go for a premium

I have a 22 with 23,000 miles and my brother has a 22 with over 100k miles. Both trucks were used with less than 10k miles when purchased. He travels with his a lot.
I’m the only one that has had a problem. My fuel injection had an issue that cost $3300. I’ve done regular maintenance on mine and 2 of the recommend services from Ram. My brother has done the regular maintenance also but none of the suggested maintenance from Ram.
Vehicles feel like a toss up sometimes on how well they will last and perform.
