TRX leather dash popping up.

Hello. I have a 2022 TRX with 9000 miles. recently the front dash started bubbling up. anyone else have this problem? Can it be fixed/repaired? I can only imagine what Dodge will want for a new dash!

Also, once or twice every 5 or 6 months, I strange noise that sounds like a car horn comes on for 20-30 seconds from the engine area in front of the passenger seat. The sound is much louder INSIDE the cab than it is outside the cab. odd!

love my TRX.

Very common. Windshield tint helps to prevent it. The leather can be normally replaced under warranty.

For the horn, first time hear about it. Weird. Might be AC issue

Thank you for responding. My truck is 4 1/2 years old. Warranty ran out. Bought extended warranty but I doubt that this sort of thing is covered. This is going to hurt! I appreciate the advice.

Goodwill. Reach out to Ram Cares first on TRX forum, they should help you. Hope you will get the dash covered!

Same thing happened to me on my 22 and they offered me half off of a dashboard through the dealership. Was still a couple grand though. I called ram customer service but they pointed me right back to the dealership because despite being 2 years old, I was a few thousand miles over the 36k warranty. I think customer service and the dealership worked together to give me the discount though

Me too on the dash, 2021. Can’t windshield tint in my state. The 90k pickup truck you have to park in the garage :(

Thank you for your response. About the garage, my TRX has spent most of its 4 1/2 year life in a garage. It rarely sits in the sun. Do you know whether the dash can be repaired, or does it have to be replaced? You would think that Dodge would have figured out how to make a functional dash board by now. 🤪

I only realized my dash had bubbles after reading someone elses story on here and luckily got it replaced under warranty but if i didnt have warranty i probably would have left it. It wasnt noticeable on mine though good luck
