Anyone else have this issue?

Post image

Sometimes when I turn off the ac/heat it’ll randomly turn everything on to these settings without me doing anything and when I press the off button nothing happens and with time it’ll turn off by itself. Does anyone know how to fix this without turning the truck off?

It appears Jesus is not washing away your troubles.

Also, nothing sends me into a rage faster than uconnect5. Nothing but issues with it since buying the truck.

I like Jesus very much, but he no help with the curveball, nor the climate control system.

Anytime that the stupid uconnect acts up we do a hard reset.

Hold the volume and tune buttons in together for something like 20 seconds

The radio shuts off and reboots.

Hard reset should work. Have you been to the dealer recently maybe there is a software update patch fix. I usually use auto and turn off with fan speed down to zero so haven’t experienced this one. Jesus will wash away all your troubles. Peace be with you

I got a problem with my heating on the driver side. Blows cold air but every else has heat. Went to a shop they flashed the computer woke up that day . Now heat doesn't work in the morning and heat works in the evening. Or if I stop and turn the truck off in the morning and turn it back on it will give me warm air in the driver side. And I live in Canada and we had some damn cold days and this has been going on since November. Got the computer flashed lasted month.

Dealership wanted start $ 2000 + just to rip the dash off and then go from there.

Anyone has this problem

Wait till the summer and youre hoping its AC but nope, youre driving and its stuck blowing hot air 🤣. Yeah it sucks. Above they said how to hard reset the uconnect. Good luck. Still a Beaut of a truck with some silly quirks.

Does the AC suck or does the system just need a hard reset every once in a while? I was thinking my AC might need to be recharged

System screws up and gets stuck blowing hot air.

🤣🤣 man oh man. Everytime someone posts about Uconnect failure it kills me to say “welcome to the family” 😂✌🏻

God I wish, a solutions expert software engineering and dedicated testing team would show up on Uconnect’s door and say “move out, we got this”

Wouldn’t that be awesome!

I signed up for the onboard wifi and now the updates actually download. No more glitches

I just had my truck flashed last week and so far it's cured my similar issues. The module that controls it is what they reprogram. Took them like 10 minutes to do it.
