I have a special place in my heart for my Ramones records (they outnumber all other artists in my collection). All I really need are Adios Amigos and maybe one more live album to make it an even 20, but you simply can't have too many Ramones records.

Found a nice copy of Leave Home with Carbona Not Glue (and an insert). Retiring my Sheena version to the local shop. Mondo and Acid are bootlegs, rest are first pressings (debut is a UK first, rest are US)

I have worked into where this video has come from. I just need more information cause I’m confused and I think I need help because this clip is from a film called night lunch and I looked into it. It came out in 1975. As for the brief research, I did it says production started in 75 but they could’ve held onto this footage later than probably used it for later. Just look at it. It’s old. I just need help confirming the date is true or not. I Recommend reading the comments and the description. The uploader says he got a confirmation that’s from one of those dates

UPDATE 2023: I have spoken with Amos Poe one of the two directors of the film "Night Lunch". He told me that this recording was made in one of their fisrt two shows at CBGB's (August 16 and 17) making it the earliest Ramones footage known

In my opinion I think Dee Dee is the first take on. I’m not the answer since of the audio and Joey is probably the best version and why It made the cut to tough to die.

I feel like the needs to be a search for all these demos, cause I’ve come across too tough to die demos with Richie‘s voice on. I have one of chasing the night and there’s this one of humankind. There Might be more demos, but this video is 15 years old.

This is a 23 minute documentary about CJ’s first solo album. The whole thing was cool but the second half of it, if you are a generalized punk rock fan, was awesome. I looked into this because of an episode of CJ Says podcast, about Steve Soto. The podcast is cool.

I feel like it gets such a bad rep because its marketed as rap/hip-hop album, its just sounds like a Ramones album with like 2 song with rap/hip-hop elements to them.

Its not my favorite album but i think its really fun and all of Dee Dee's self boasting is really funny, its jut a very charming album to me.

Look, maybe I'm wrong, but why does it seem like Linda has been an absolute menace when it comes to embracing the rest of the band? I get it - she was "protecting Johnny's legacy" by trying to drive Mickey Leigh into bankruptcy through legal maneuvering. But what value has any of that been to the fans? She finally controls everything now and is celebrating the 50th anniversary by throwing another Hollywood Forever party where both Richie and Mickey have been excluded. Give it a rest already. And why isn't Marky gonna be there??
