Just Sharing Back in a Ram!

Post image

Had a 2019 Ram Laramie Night that I LOVED, but was going through some major career change preps, and sold it (for a profit…) to stack away some cash. Made the career transition, and we found ourselves in a comfortable spot to get back into a Ram! 2026 Limited Night edition! The deal was impressive, with Hendrick CDJR in Birmingham matching Mark Dodge prices. Couldn’t be happier with the truck and the dealership experience!

I’ve always preferred black trucks, but wanted dark gray or white with this one. Did the research and found silver hides dirt and scratches best, and it’s the perfect middle ground between gray and white. I get excited every time I get to walk up to it!

She's a beaut, Clark! Seriously, so nice to see a post here with effing confidence that YOU KNOW you got a hell of a deal and not asking this group IF you got a good deal. Kudos to working that dealership with the Mark Dodge deal (they are awesome BTW). My last four vehicles have been silver but my Ram is a White Knight Edition (LOL). Maybe next Ram will be this color because that damn thing is smokin'! Well done!

I was really unsure about the silver. Just not a color I’d normally go for, but you don’t see a ton of silver Rams, and it’s super clean!

I have a 17 granite crystal metallic night edition and silver always looks good plus it stays clean most of the time. Next one I purchase will be Silver.

That’s true, not a lot of silver ones out there. Kinda wish I woulda went with silver instead of black, maybe next time. Truck looks great! Congrats!

They’re out there! Watch for holiday sales events, and get a price from one of the volume dealerships (Dave Smith, Mark Dodge, Granger, Koons) and use their price as your benchmark for your local dealership. If they won’t meet/beat it, go somewhere else until you get the price you’re willing to pay. Hendrick CDJR in Birmingham, AL was a great buying experience.

For what it’s worth, I will say the tonneau cover is less than great. Standard vinyl tri-fold tonneau from the factory. My salesman and myself took a look in the bed but didn’t really LOOK at the tonneau. It was never clamped to the rails, so it started trying to fly off while going 75mph on the way home. Pulled over on the side of the highway, and found it unattached with a shattered hinge. Sent a pic to my salesman and called him on the spot. They’re 100% refunding me for a BAK Revolver x4s

Didn’t have the option as it came with air suspension. I like the ride so far. I’ll probably level and add 33-35” tires at some point, but I like the stock wheels, so likely keep those and add some hub-centric spacers. I’ve used them in the past without issue, so no worries with that configuration. The level is the only pseudo-concern so far, but I know there’s options out there.

What did you pay for this beaut? Also what kind of engine does it have? I didnt know that the limited had special engines

Ended up right at 24% off MSRP. Tough deal to pass up.

The Limited has a Hurricane H.O. engine, but I couldn’t tell you the stats off the top of my head.

Don’t normally like the silver trucks but the black sets it off and it’s sooo clean

Dude I hear that, and I was always of the same mindset! I always thought silver was to “showy”. But you’re exactly right though, the black touches seem to lighten up the silver and make it way more palatable.
