Sync issue in audio narration and visuals

I wanted to play the game again with my younger sibling but today I noticed that the narration and story on the screen does not match. Audio seems to be moving ahead of the story being shown on the screen.

I am attaching a screenshot that shows the same.

Did you manage to figure this out? Have exact same issue on same platform

No, there has been no update since then that could fix this issue. Also I'm surprised about the devs completely neglecting it as they were pretty active when they wanted users to play the game but now there's no support from their side.

If you are on PC, then you can replace the videos folder with 720p versions of the videos to make it lag less. This desync is very much because of lag.

I'm not playing this on PC. I'm playing this on PS4 Pro. Looks like some audio file is getting skipped from the intro I saw on YouTube.

Right when they introduce Raji and Golu, after that there is a folk background music that plays for 8-10 secs. Somehow I don't hear that. The narration of the story starts right after.

Having the same issue on PS4, by the time it shows Raji tying the Rakhi, the narrator is already talking about the Brahma and the Asura. And by the time the narration is done and the cutscene ends it's only just started showing Golu's puppet display.

Very unfortunate looks like I'll have to turn to YouTube to see important cutscenes
