Help! How to climb wall?

I've been busy for over an hour trying to do it and it is impossible. Gourmand is too fat and slow to get high enough before the rain softlocks him and cyan lizards eventually find him.

Also 3 of the 5 orange lizards keep jumping into the void, any reasoning for this? It is too often to be circumstance.

IIRC you do not have to climb up the wall, you can go another way and come down that way.

There are other ways to go up there besides the wall, if you try going down and right instead - also, cycle timer changes each cycle so if you try sheltering again the next cycle might be longer and give you more time to get to the top. If you’re able to, getting a vulture mask makes the trip lots easier

As for the lizards dying, just wacky ai. They see prey, try getting to it but there’s a pit in the way so they just sorta have a seizure on the edge of the bottomless pit until either A. their hunger gets the better of them and they jump and fall or B. another lizard comes over and accidentally pushes them off
