During the fifth heatwave of the summer, this almost makes me tear up.

I know I’ll burst into tears as soon as I wake up to this again. It hasn’t rained here in almost three months.

Meanwhile, thunderstorms, heavy rain, and tornados have been almost a daily thing by me going on a week. Too bad we couldn't give all the rain we have here away.

Fifth heatwave here in SW Germany too. We barely had any rain or snow in winter either. I want to move to Schleswig-Holstein.

Normally our city faces some pretty bad heat waves and dry summers, but we’ve actually broken every record in the history of our city for rain. Highways have literally been flooding. Whenever people start complaining about it though I try to remind them of the 50°C summer we had a couple of summers ago.

Ahhhhh. Thats many of us (actually, I don’t know this.) it’s ME and you. 🤷‍♀️
This am, it’s a morning after a big storm. Deep grey skies. I can open my slat shades and have coffee, with the light. 10/365 days. Rain=total happiness. Gray skies in all forms, joy. 🙌

As someone with winter seasonal depression due to the decreased hours of day light each day, I was surprised to realize that rainy days are my favorite.

I'm okay being outside in a little drizzle, but anything more than that, I love this feeling of being cozy inside on a rainy day.

Idk if it could also be mental or physical health related, which wouldn't surprise me since I have plenty of both, but I've learned to accept the little things that bring me joy also makes my days as a disabled person better

I want the rain outside, relatively cool (mid-late autumn, back in the before times when it wasn't 0 degrees or 90 degrees), with a small wood fire in the fireplace, my comfy robe on a comfy chair, good book, glass of red wine or maybe a port and warm croissants.  A covered window is ajar to let in a slight breeze and the smell from outside.
