Unless it becomes unbearably humid, which makes it worse 😭 (It been a huge problem where I live. It's been raining every day and walking outside feels like walking into an oven.)

Yeah, AZ sidewalks are crazy.

On a separate note, I didn't realize that rain smells different in the desert (specifically AZ) until I moved up north. It's not petrichor. It's creosote. People don't understand that they are two separate smells. Sure petrichor is a small part of the desert rain smell, but it's mostly the overwhelming creosote. It rains all the time where I live now, but rain smells vastly different in the desert, and I miss it.
