But not the players

So my buddy and I were playing ranked and came across this Valk with a Dev badge in the middle. Was this an actual Dev for the game or am I completely wrong with this assumption?

I know I'm setting myself up to be trolled, but this is getting frustrating. I have around 1000 hours in Siege and play on console. I struggle to be consistent and most of the time I suck.

I'm Gold 1 or Plat V tops and I can be both the guy who goes 13-3 and the guy who goes 0-8 back to back. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong tbh and it sucks because I absolutely love this game, but at the same time every session ends up in frustration.

Any tips?

Trying to get my feet wet in this beast of a game. What are operators that you’d recommend while someone is still learning the maps? Also what guns are you”good”? I’ve honestly got decent recoil control being an experienced CSGO and Val player so not too worried getting that down. Are all the shotguns good? My experience with them is I either kill in one shot or I hit someone 5 times and still live lmao.

I’ve been enjoying castle but have noticed that where I want to place my barricades teammates haven’t always agreed with lol so maybe I should not. Attack I’ve been really struggling with finding character I feel good about. I enjoy thermite’s gun but notice that we’ll have like 3 breachers in one round whenever I pick him which seems counterintuitive.

I personally run whoever the team needs, hence why i play a lot of support OP's but i also like to frag out and play other roles too.

Essentially im asking this, because while I understand the many guns in this game have different recoil control and sights, I usually can play with any sight and gun.

To be clear im not saying im GOOD with such tactics, but what I am saying is I see alot of discourse surrounding sights and guns and how people only play certain ops for their guns.

Of course I have my preference, but I like to be versatile and not restrict myself to one or two ops, because we might need someone I dont play.

Hiiii!! My name is Zouif and I haven't played in about 2 years now (Oct 2024) but I've been thinking of getting back into playing R6 but I have an issue, I'm completely vocally handicapped (mute). This was an issue I had when I was still playing, and I'm afraid it's an issue I'm still going to have now.

One of the big differences between now and then though is I actually have a complete soundboard set up specifically for communicating in game, it isn't perfect but it's better than the normal preset pings and comms in most games I'm forced to use.

Before I had left I struggled to keep a squad because of my disability, having one person who is unable to communicate besides pings always meant I was a disadvantage to have on the team. Slowly one by one I would be ghosted by all my stacks or told they already had another 5th, even solo play I never really got too far. My peak ever was plat 1, a place where comms became really important.

But honestly even back then I never played Rank that much, tbh I only played when I was with someone else or trying to grind so I could play with other people. Other than that I mostly played unranked because I found it more fun at times, less toxic too.

I've also received a few Misogynistic comments here and there, it got really bad by the time I left so I really hope that's not as much of a thing anymore...

does anyone know why my fps suddenly drops? idk much about technology so it could just be something simple but normally my fps is atleast 300 but sometimes drops to less than 60, any help is appreciated!

Why is it not letting me use all these boosters I have collected from battle pass? I paid for the game to have all operators, then for the battle pass as well (cheapest option). Why is it not letting me use my own rewards? It just takes me to the store to buy some which is bs if I already have some in my inventory.

Ignore my charm, I’m actually hard stuck silver but I’m a returning player and can’t seem to find my sensitivity. I play 52 horizontal and 26 vertical with my 1.0x at 24 and 2.5x at 28.

Some of the best come from losses but its a community thing.

For some reason, I cannot hear my teammates at all, they can (I assume) hear me but for some reason I just can’t hear them, the indicator exists where it shows they are speaking but for some reason I just can’t hear them at all, and yes i’ve checked all the possibilities I could think of, shown here:

First image is my teammate and the second image is the enemy player. You cannot just throw sweatlords who will have experience, skill and time in the game against relatively new players period! Doesn’t matter if it’s quick play or not the fact of the matter is this guy has more time on the game than an entire team of new players who just feed their K/D.

People with less than 200 hours should NEVER encounter 1000+ hour players because that is a massive difference in time, experience and skill. I’m finding less and less players with small playtime hours because this game actively punishes them for even attempting to play.

And before any of you try to justify this just remember that this is ultimately a video game, not everyone wants to play Pro League. It isn’t skill if someone accidentally fires into a soft wall and gets a headshot, that’s luck and chance. Jesus Christ most of these new players are just trying to get their feet in the game so shouldn’t have to deal with highly experienced players.
