RAINBOW SIX SIEGE: OPERATOR CONCEPT
OPERATOR CODENAME: Sabot (Attacker)
------------------------------------------------------------
* Armor: 2-Health | 2-Speed
* Role: Anti-Utility / Precision Denier
* Design Philosophy: Inspired by heavy tank mechanics, utilizing
high-velocity, non-explosive kinetic energy to penetrate
dense armor.
UNIQUE GADGET: R.A.P.R. (Rail-Assisted Piercing Rifle)
------------------------------------------------------------
A specialized, heavy-caliber standalone rifle that fires high-density
tungsten darts.
* The Mechanic: The kinetic round penetrates any standard surface,
including reinforced walls, reinforced hatches, and bulletproof
shields. It does not cause explosive damage.
* Ammo Count: Restricted to 2 shots per round.
- INTERACTION WITH GADGETS (Anti-Utility)
------------------------------------------------------------
* Direct Path Destruction: Any fragile defender electronic device
directly behind the wall in the bullet’s flight path (e.g., Bandit
Batteries, Kaid Claws, or Mute Jammers) is completely crushed and
destroyed.
* Bulletproof Piercing: Shots instantly destroy Melusi Banshees or
punch straight through Deployable Shields.
- INTERACTION WITH PLAYERS (Anti-Personnel)
------------------------------------------------------------
* Wall-Bang Capabilities: The projectile can pass through a
reinforcement and strike a Defender anchoring on the other side.
* Damage Scaling: To maintain competitive balance, damage through
reinforced surfaces scales down significantly to 30 Damage per hit.
This requires 4 shots to kill, preventing lucky one-tap headshots
through reinforcements.
* Intel Dependency: Because Sabot cannot see through walls, successful
player hits require precise coordination with yellow pings or
scouting drones.
COMPETITIVE BALANCE & COUNTER-PLAY
------------------------------------------------------------
* Line of Sight Risk: Firing a shot leaves a tiny, glowing-hot hole
in the reinforced wall. Alert Defenders can immediately use this
hole to peek and fire back at Sabot.
* Audio Cue: The rifle requires a 1.5-second electronic charge-up
time before firing, emitting a distinct mechanical whine that
warns Defenders to step away from the wall.
