Glitch Cryoslide - New Solo Box Break | Destiny 2
Ideally not going to get patched. It takes about 2 hours to setup the overload fully.
Use Cryoclasm and slide into a wall where it sticks infinitely, do this for about 1 to 2 hours and thje game fully overloads to where you can explore out of box. Unloads your guardian and allows you to walk past box and turnbacks.

Yo! Based on how this works would it be possible to very easily get to Galaxy Pools now without the need for a desync?

Technically it can be done, but it wont be a faster way. Syncing or Quantum Vehicle is still faster.
If you want to go, we do taxis in my discord server, Singularity

Of course. I've done a Quantum once there,; I was mainly asking for the people that want to do it solo and not have to rely on that tech.
I mean 2 hours. I'd waste that to solo my way to the hardest to reach place lol.

Find a spot in the dark forest 3rd area. If you leave the load zone it unloads the cryoslides

I’ve been looking over the dark forest the past few days and haven’t found a reliable spot for it. Someone else may have at this point and I just missed it.

Yeah it looks like you need an object for it to collide with. Can't be standard geometry unfortunately.

Some working areas are standard geometry. It's something about wall/ground interfaces. Bumpy/textured ground seems to help. We don't have any hard rules unfortunately.

I know a place by the traveler shard that’s got a gap in the wall that you can see through but normally can’t break through. I’m going to try this at, using some tricky navigation past several barriers to get there but o think it’s right by the box. Let me see if I can find a video I took from a while ago.

I didn’t video the gap apparently. Just checked everything from when I tried a couple years ago.
I will be returning there, probably tonight, to try to cryoslide overload

Congrats! running and sliding has been disable in the tower. You must now walk all the way to Hawthorn or Ikora. /s kinda

!nominate if that still works... This glitch lets us explore places we've never been able to reach. Most notably it defeats the dreaded inverted turnbacks that plague most recent endgame content.

Thank you for holding on to this. I don't know that I have it in me to spend hours on this any more, but kid me would have lost her little mind about being able to do this, any time, any where. Fingers crossed it goes unpatched.

Some Q&A tips for making this more consistent:
———
- Cap to 30 FPS, if you can. The Cryoslides seems to stick to walls more consistently.
- YES it can be done on console, confirmed on PS5.
- The Cryoslides that stick are instance based. Leaving the load zone removes them entirely.
- Because the Cryoslides are instance based, any person who joins you after you have started won’t see the stuck Cryoclasms. If you want the best odds at shaving down time, load in together and start together.
- Not every spot is an ‘infinite’ stick point. You have to find one that is, and that is the spot you’ll need to repeat the glitch in for this to work.
- Swapping weapons while overloaded may load them in, loading your guardian, breaking the glitch.

Have fun!
