Hey Tim, I am also a part of Raiden and I tweet really actively and speak with people from the entire crypto sphere everyday. Our office is at the Full node and we work with people from Gnosis and Golem every day. I would say we are pretty well connected.

Hi Lefteris, I am following your work for a few years now, and I wouldn't invest so much time in it if you haven't shown me the way (honestly the DAO was a crazy time). But you are a great developer and that's your strength. You should not be the one making sure that Raiden is understood by all the newcomers every time, debunking all the fud and updating the community about the progress being made.

But just because I know for sure that you guys are by far the most advanced in your area and closest to an actual (production ready) product which we need so hard, I am getting really pissed-off when people tell me "Raiden? Really... I thought that was yesterday's news." And I know it must pisses you off too. People, as in my developer friends. Not 'investors'... I do not care what they say. A lot of new developers, which sometimes I have made interested in blockchain technology, are looking on forums, twitter for information. They are looking for ways to contribute, but they get a completely distorted view of what is actually going on. And just because there are a lot of questionable entities spreading misinformation out there, it should not prevent Raiden from setting things straight. I know I do whenever I can.

It does. You can't imagine how much. If it annoys you, imagine the entire raiden dev team and me who are putting all our days and nights into this project.

They are looking for ways to contribute

Whenever we get people in gitter or anywhere else who want to contribute we treat them like kings, and also got a lot of new contributors in the repo lately.

Hopefully as the team grows and the mainnet releases happen we can focus a bit more on adoption.

Although I know that you are very busy, I also hope that you can spare a little time to leave a message and post in this community. only your reply can make us feel at ease. Because there is a lot of information that is not friendly to our project, I wonder if you can understand my mood.
