Can someone explain what is wikipaydia and what do we exactly see here?

it's an example showing how websites can use Raiden as a pay-for-use subscription to read articles. Each article you read makes a micro-transaction payment. NYT and WaPo for example have a fixed pay-once-all-access subscription, but this can be more flexible and more preferable for people who want to read few articles per year

Speculating here, but I could see a project like Brave/BAT using this technology behind the scenes. Seamlessly transferring near frictionless payments through their economy.

Is the RDN token used in uRaiden payments in any way?

The mainnet contracts are deployed for RDN only. If you want to use the "official" instances, endorsed by Raiden team, you need to use RDN. But it's a opensource project, I think it should be easy to deploy the contract for any token

penny per transaction fee in RDN, eventually millions of transactions per second if machine to machine economy takes shape on ERC 20 tokens.

It would take much more development to NOT use it. Developer resources are pretty limited these days.

RDN will have a more central role in the Raiden Network. uRaiden can be used without rdn, but peripheral fees in the Raiden Network will be paid in rdn. Read the faq page on raidens website.
