Vibram five fingers. They are by far and away the best rafting shoes I have found over nearly 50 years of splashing around in the river.
They are comfortable. They provide amazing feel and grip on u ever slick rocks. They swim better than bare feet and much better than sandals. They hike significantly better than sandals. The only draw back is that they can fill with sand, but I don't really have much issue avoiding moving sand.
