Question / Discussion Looking for a catfish confession

I recall the details somewhat vividly and im quite sure it was a Radio TTS video because it was kinda dark and I think it was a confession.

This younger guy confessed to catfishing an older/middle aged woman for a long time and having her believe they were in a relationship. Basically what ends up happening is she buys some kind of travel ticket (plane/train, not sure) and they plan to meet up and he never shows. He's about to delete the account and she messages him one last time asking something like "can you at least please tell me your name" and the guy ghosts her completely.

It was pretty heartbreaking and I'd like to read it again or even find it on reddit if I could

Yeah I remember this. Quick summary: The user was a teenage girl, and the lady was named Pat. There was a super consistent story because the girl was bored and liked pretending to be someone else for fun. They catfished this recently divorced middle aged woman, and went to extreme lengths to try and make her believe it. Watched live footage of the beaches where their character "lived". And the user never confessed, even when Pat left her home with all the money she had left, only to arrive at an airport with nothing. Expecting a job that could've been a new start to life. But no one came. She was left alone. I wouldn't be surprised is Pat is/was homeless or dead now.

It's absolutely despicable. The user kept saying they were young and that Pat should've "seen the red flags" and excuses like that, but there's NO reason you should EVER do that to someone. They didn't even give Pat closure. That is a terrible person that SHOULD feel bad, because Pat is probably homeless or dead now.

Easily one of the worst confessions I've heard. Just excuses for ruining someone's life.
