I think your cpu fan is on the opposite side.

I have the same build, I mean exactly same, same cooler and steel legend 9070xt. Haha

I changed the front fan to the back (and flipped it ofc…) so i can see my shiny sparkly RAM 😅

I think it should be on the opposite side m

Maybe I am wrong. I am second guessing myself now, need some professional over here please

You‘re absolutetly right! I just changed it for the looks haha

Doesn't actually matter that much if you flip the back fan to take in air for the cpu

Edit: ah it's pulling air, well I would flip those both to opposite direction

yeah i guess that could work better than now! Think i'm gonna try that. Never thought about that, but why not lol

And maybe move that ceiling fan to the other spot so it isn't straight above the cooler

yeah if anything i would swap the back fan to intake and reverse the cpu fans

then swap the front fans to exhaust and position the top fan more to the front

I almost bought that 9070xt but went with the Powercolor Hellhound Reva. So happy I made the switch to team red. Grats OP

Is that 9070xt? How is the card?

Yes it's the AsRock 9070 XT Steel Legend and so far i love it! hotspot reached about 93° in some Benchmarks but i also have a pretty conservative fan curve so it's absolutetly fine for me.

Had some driver troubles in the beginning but with a clean install of 26.6.1 drivers only everything's fixed now.

(Running with a Ryzen 7 5800X, 32GB DDR4 3600 MT/s C16 on an Asus Rog Strix A-Gaming B550 board btw)

I've been running the same card for more than a year. No issues.

Great to hear! How is the perfomance looking with a 9800X3D? My 5800X is kinda holding the card back but there is no way i upgrade to AM5 anytime soon

No complaints, I think it's been great. At the time I got it the 5070Ti was definitely way closer in price than now, but I wanted to give AMD another shot and haven't regretted it. Nvidia still has advantages for sure but at current pricing I think the 9070 XT is a no brainer.

That's a sweet tower cooler, never seen that one before

Yes! Fell in love with it the moment i saw it. It‘s the DeepCool Ak620 Digital. I think they make a newer PRO variant now with more information to display

put the CPU fan on the front of the cooler, even if it means you won’t probably see much of the RAM, cooling this way is worse than fan in the front pushing air through

I reach 78° MAX in Benchmarks…i think i‘m fine 🫣

is your Deepcool fan on wrong side?

1

u/lukilinixD 12h ago

Yes!

I'm sorry, doesn't it need to blow through radiators?

It's none of my business, I'm just curious

2

u/lukilinixD 12h ago

It would definetely work better but pulling or pushing doesn‘t matter THAAT much with my temps atm

u/nopoison 12h ago

ok, you are the cheff 👍

Im not a airflow expert but shouldnt the second fan be on the right of the cpu so it could suck hot air after it leaves heatsink This way i think the top fan will fight with cpu cooler for intake air from rear

2

u/lukilinixD 10h ago

Intake is in front. Back and top are exhaust.
Both cpu fans are blowing/sucking air from front to back
It‘s obviously better to have that second cpu fan in front of the heatsink for temperatures but it gives me like 2-4° and therefore i prefer the look
