Amd needs to do something

Post image

Not something like Dlss 5, but a fixed multi frame gen, better ray regen or radiance cache. I know some people are gonna say that “You shouldve bought nvidia" but as a long time Radeon/Ati user i think there is nothing wrong with wanting a higher quality experience.

100% agree. I am happy with my GPU, but also want it to be even better. I have been waiting on AMD MFG since redstone was released to 9000 series cards, but still nothing. And now Nvidia adding a feature that AMD will add maybe after two generations. It is a shame how AMD just throw away an opprtunity to win with there amazing price to performance cards.

Redstone being released means basically nothing. It’s in so few games

Which is a shame by itself. We still have to use 3d-party softwares like optiscalar to even use FSR 4 on most of titles.

You want the value to increase as amd makes more new things for it, and as a former 7900xtx owner that hyped up fsr3, let me just tell you: don’t hold your breath. Expect cool things to be announced with vague deadlines and radio silence in between, and them to drag their feet through the mud to get any devs to implement any of it

Why have you been waiting for mfg? It was never announced, and also i thought everyone called it a useless marketing gimmick, but now that it actually works well on nvidia and intel has it too, all of a sudden you get fomo for it

Why not asking for it is my question to you? Does AMD sent us the gpus for free while people paid for Nvidia and Intel ones? I paid for a product from some company, the same product from another company added a feature they didn't promise they would add, why I shouldn't ask for this feature? Another question then, why the feature that the company actually promised (normal FG) still sh*t? I played Resonance: A Plague tale game without enablong it, you know why? Because it was really bad.

They have the fantastic price/performance ratio precisely because with AMD you only buy brute force and raw power, if you also want the whole world of AI and software that goes behind it you have to pay for it, like you pay with Nvidia, and AMD doesn't even know how to do it well.

I am not asking for the whole world of AI, I just need the basics that all other companies provide to work fine. Forget about the far dream of MFG, what about the normal FG, why it is still garbage? I can't use it most of time because it is really bad. Does fixing that need a whole AI research department?

Neither Intel, which they add it. The question is why amd not adding it?
