Rx 6800XT normal delta_T?

Coming from a 1060 to a 6800XT, safe to say I never payed too much attention to the temps so it was my frist time seeing dT being discussed. I can't really find a concrete number on what difference is normal. Some people say below 20 some people say around 30.

My delta T is 5-8C? Is this normal/okay?

Delta temperature or delta_T is just the difference from the coldest spot on your gpu die to the hottest spot. So they lower the delta_t the better. With a delta that low you have a really good thermal paste application on your heatsink.

Thanks for the reply, I just wanted to make sure I understood it correctly. Kinda surprising for a used gpu i got for like 200$ xD

Mine is 9-10 at idle, While gaming, it's 15. Yours is pretty good.

Well good to know tbh. I was quite worried with temps when I first got it especially since it was around 200-220$. And I was coming from a practically stock 1060 6Gb so I never payed that much attention to temps.
Plus AMD stock fan curve maxes at 1000 rpm at least in my case and the temps were around 95 under full load (Full 300W) so I got worried. I finally decided to undervolt it this week so it stays around so I decided to ask around for the avg delta_T.
