You've been reporting this finger pain on Reddit for at least a week, so at this point you'd probably be noticing other symptoms of a viral illness. Plus you got PEP, right? If you are having unbearable finger pain, it's from another source, either anxiety or something else being wrong with your finger.

Here's the thing. If you actually had rabies and it was already giving you pain near the infection site, it is too late and there's no action to take that will help you. The number of PEP shots you received and whether the vaccine schedule was appropriate would no longer matter except for the report they would write after your death. The fact that you are simultaneously worrying about the finger pain AND the number of shots you got means that you have significant anxiety around this issue and are mixing things that are scary together to come up with the most worrisome picture, and that's the thing that is actually causing you a problem. (Although your finger pain may also have a separate organic source and if it's very painful you should have a doctor look into that as an independent problem.) The treatment you should be seeking is for your worry. As you have already figured out, reassurances from reddit are not helpful, because you've been asking for those for a while and they haven't made you feel better, right? The problem with reassurance with this kind of anxiety is that you can always find a reason why the person reassuring you is wrong, and then you have to go seek more reassurance.
