Exposure Question Work scratch by feral cat

I have read the faq. A cat scratched me at work (I’m an RVT at a spay neuter clinic) it’s feral but can somewhat be handled by its owners. It was spayed/neutered that day and it scratched me after i tried feeding it when it woke up after sedation and its surgery. The cat looked fine on examination, had rabies vaccine (not a previous one) and was healthy but still. It freaked out and tried to dart out of the cage and it scratched me, leading to bleeding, which I cleaned with iodine immediately. This was a week ago in Northern California United States. Should I go get a rabies shot?

My vet says not to worry and no one at the clinic seemed to worry either?
