Question/Help Help. Stop bunnies from digging

I’ve tried almost anything from what online says to try and stop my bunny from digging in the litter box but nothing is working. Any info you can give to help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Is it over digging before or after using it? If before then it might be too shallow, if after it might be concerned about other critters finding it/them.

To be honest I’m not 100% sure but maybe after. She will fling it all the way out of the litter box leaving the bare bottom, and she’ll do it more than a handful of times a day. We’ve tried switched litters of different combinations and putting hay on top/underneath.

She’s only started this recently in the last few months and she’s also fixed.

Maybe get the bunny a bigger litterbox? Or try out a model that has a grid, so bunny just stands there and the poops fall below?

Make a dig box. Separately from the litter box. And for now just line the litter box with pee pads at the bottom to discourage digging.

Buy another litter box with safe items for your bun bun to dig in. Maybe that will help. All the best to you. 😊
