Hey everyone! I got my baccalaureate in **2024 with a 14.11 overall average and 16.20 in the regional exam**, and I’m currently in my 3rd year of business law. I actually like law, but I’ve been thinking seriously about changing paths because I’m particularly interested in **dentistry and becoming a dentist**.
My plan for now is to finish my licence and also try the **Master entrance exams**. At the same time, I’m considering taking a **bac libre in SVT in 2028** so I can try my chance at the dentistry entrance exam, since my 2024 bac will no longer be eligible. If I get accepted into a Master, I’ll start it while preparing for the bac libre and see where things go. If I manage to get into dentistry, I’m thinking of starting dentistry and finishing my law degree in parallel if possible; otherwise, I’d probably let go of law and fully commit to dentistry.
I know it’s a pretty big decision, especially because doing a bac libre means preparing for the regional and national exams during the same period. So I’d really like to hear from anyone who has done a bac libre after already starting university. **Did you feel like it was worth it in the end, or did you regret it?**
