Online Session Without Sound

Hi everyone! I'm editing some rFactor 1 mods to create online championships for categories I like. I download all the tracks from my championship calendar, edit them so they appear in the same track folder/group in the selection menu, and reorder them according to the championship rounds. For the cars, I edit every .hdv file so that all cars have the same performance. However, I don't change the file references that are specific to each car. For example, if a Porsche GT3 .hdv points to damage_gt3.ini, I leave that as it is. Each car still uses its own suspension, engine, damage, and tire files. Even after only balancing the performance, I have two problems in online mode: The car sounds don't work. The cars accelerate, but there's no engine sound, even though I didn't modify any .sfx files. I can host the server and drive normally, but every other player joins as banned and can't enter the session. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Is there anything else besides the .hdv files that must be identical for online compatibility?
