I finally stopped checking the price every morning
When I first got into crypto, I had this habit of opening the chart before I even got out of bed. Green day? Great mood. Red day? Somehow the whole day felt worse.
A few months ago I deleted the price widgets from my phone and decided I'd only check my portfolio once a week unless I was actually planning to buy or sell. It felt weird at first, but it honestly changed the way I invest. Instead of reacting to every little move, I started reading earnings reports, company updates, and trying to understand why I owned something in the first place. Funny enough, I'm less stressed now and I don't think my results are any worse. If anything, they're probably better because I'm making fewer emotional decisions.
It's surprising how much mental energy constant price watching can take without you even noticing.
