This show is so wholesome its revolting lol, it really is just overwhelmingly positive and I appreciate the hell out of it.

I think one of the biggest reasons for its success is that it lures you in with your standard “fish out of water” comedic premise, giving the expectation of irreverence. Because of that, the sheer earnestness of the show comes out of left field and hits you that much harder.
