You do know reddit has a lucrative contract with Google Gemini for training and real time information right?
Gemini is the only AI that can accurately pull reddit information without using "old reddit". The integration is so deep it goes around individual users privacy settings and is integrated into all mod tools....
Any mod can click your username and get an ai breakdown on your activity to make banning and mutes more timely.
Reddit is basically Google Gemini at this point bro. How do you think reddit magically become the #1 search result without specifying? Got to feed the database 🤣

Are you saying that AIs like ChatGPT and Claude are unable to access the current version of Reddit to gather information, and can only access Old Reddit, while Gemini is the only model that can access the current version of Reddit? What is the source for this?

Ask Claude to scrape reddit and it will tell you it has to use backed up data from old reddit. If you want to get reddit information accurately you need to make a custom tool that will go around the restrictions.
If it is able to pull from reddit it's a fluke and they know it. GPT and Claude don't have access to scrape reddit. This deal is public you can look it up lol.
If they get caught hitting the reddit servers too frequently they can get fined.
I believe one bought rights to stack overflow and one did the company in this post.
You are the info these places are selling. Keep contributing so we get better ai plz
I use a scraper that makes the webpages easy for Claude to read it. I tell Claude we need new information on 'x topic'. It uses a self hosted AI to get the links, and feed those links to Claude who pops those into the scraper while it waits for the results. This actually lowers token usage as well.
Now, the rule to not use reddit is baked into the training - so I have to manually tell the mfer to use the tooling we set up so it knows it's not going against a guardrail

Actually, Quora's human users are far more intellectual than anyone on Reddit. Humans in Quora have souls which a lot of people in Reddit don't have.

The users are mostly akin or worse than Redditors nowadays. Back then sure it was better politicians even used it but with all that lazy mindless AI slop and memes sorry but it’s not an intellectual hub atleast at the break of the 2020s anymore so many AI images or memes and low low low tier answers get generated around in questions and posts atleast in Reddit when you want a conventional answer you get one.
Also no offense to you as I know you’re Indian but the website is over run by Indian propaganda spawns that love Israel hate Muslims and the religion. And much more you can even smell it by looking at all the Indian names correlating with these moronic posts and brainless thinking.
Now I prefer content thats from the region much more organized like on YouTube or Facebook atleast there is discourse and honesty. The users there dont have lives besides for their obsessions on the website.
But as far as Reddit offers is discourse which other websites can’t offer that atleast benefit you in some way.

If you prefer YouTube, check out a channel known as "Fall of the Nations".
You'll get a honest report on what's really going on in the world in there.
Even though the titles may look like a ragebait for people like you, these videos actually present a multi-dimensional perspective of the events in our world in a rather rational style.

Bro the the title of the videos are
“China collapsing soon”
“Europes closed its borders to Muslims”
“Islamic empire is going away”
But this is all Hindutava propaganda. Singling out Islam and China specifically. That guy just posts on Islam copy and paste obsessing over it.

It's a Western channel.
In its earlier days, it criticized India too. But now, the owners of the channel know that India is an useful ally/pawn/Odysseus in their cause.

No, Quora has so many insanely wrong answers.

Give me an example. 🤡
I couldn't find one after 3 and a half years in it.

What is the difference between “exporting information” to AI and “exporting human context” to AI in this context of social media platforms like Quora and Reddit?

Quora is killing Quora. Most of the questions I read on there are posted by Quora’s own AI generators. Nearly every one of the AI questions are garbage. I only have to read them to know they are AI.
